Lohia Corp Limited (LCL) has taken significant steps to expand its global footprint with two key developments.
The company has acquired J.J. Jenkins Inc., a well-known machine manufacturer for high-tech industries, through its US subsidiary, Leesona Corp, a pioneer in winding machines with a 130-year history. This acquisition aligns with LCL’s strategy to expand its speciality yarns and tapes portfolio, particularly in the medical and defence sectors.
In addition, LCL has formed a strategic joint venture with Italy’s O.M.G.M. sas, leading to the creation of OMGM Extrusiontechnik Srl, in which LCL holds the majority stake. This joint venture diversifies LCL’s product offerings, introducing solutions in extrusion and winding systems for various technical applications.
These initiatives not only enhance LCL’s presence in North America and Europe but also strengthen its position in global markets, providing customers with a broader range of cutting-edge solutions.
