The executive board of Lenzing AG, an Austrian fibre maker, will consist of four members once more. Georg Kasperkovitz was named chief operating officer (COO) by the group on Monday.
In his future position, Kasperkovitz is supposed to oversee all of the business’s fibre manufacturing facilities and advance the performance program that was already in place, which would lead to operational cost excellence and the company’s overall transformation, the company stated. Furthermore, he will oversee and advance the Lenzing location.
The designated COO has over 15 years of expertise in a variety of managerial roles across Europe, North America, and Asia, according to his employer. Throughout his career, Kasperkovitz had a number of executive roles at the freight transport firm Rail Cargo Austria AG and the multinational packaging and paper giant Mondi Plc.
