Madhya Pradesh has officially received approval for the Rs. 2,100 crore (US $ 246 million) PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park project, according to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. This will be the first integrated textile park of its kind in India and will be built in Madhya Pradesh sanctioned by the Union Ministry of Textiles.
According to him, the project will improve India’s textile industry internationally while also redefining the state’s economic environment. The 2,100-acre, state-of-the-art PM MITRA Park will create new job and investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
The park will have plug-and-play BTS (Built-To-Suit) units, a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy facility, and worker housing complexes. The goal is for all building projects to be finished in 14 months.
Applications for the park’s land distribution will soon be accepted, Chief Minister Yadav announced. The industrial sector has responded enthusiastically, as evidenced by the Rs. 10,000 crore (US $ 1.17 billion) in investment proposals that have already been received.
He underlined that the park will greatly boost Madhya Pradesh’s economy by reviving the state’s textile sector and creating jobs for thousands of people.
In the Dhar district’s Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, the PM MITRA Park is to be built. The site is well located just 50 kilometres from the Delhi-Mumbai Motorway via Ratlam, 110 km from Indore, and 85 km from the Pithampur industrial cluster. Hazira, the closest port, is 452 kilometres away.
