Sim Fabrics Ltd. and the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) have inked a contract for the allocation of five acres of land in the Jamalpur Economic Zone. The ceremony to sign the deal took place at the capital’s BEZA office in Agargaon.
On behalf of their respective organisations, Md. Mozaffar Hossain, Managing Director of Sim Fabrics Ltd., and Executive Member (Investment Development) Md. Mojibur Rahman signed the agreement.
Attendees included high-ranking BEZA and Sim Fabrics officials, as well as Executive Chairman Dr. Md. Sarwar Bari.
On five acres of property, Sim Fabrics Ltd. plans to invest roughly US $ 17 million, according to corporate sources. Approximately 250 people are expected to be employed total, according to the initial estimates.
He mentioned that all facilities including utilities are being provided to the investors to build a self-sufficient economic zone in Jamalpur and the people of the remote areas will enjoy the benefits of this development and industrialisation.
The organisation’s managing director, Md. Mozaffar Hossain, expressed his pride in being a part of BEZA’s planned industrialisation.
Additionally, he stated that his organisation would like to get the construction work underway as soon as all facilities linked to services are confirmed.
