
The AMANN Group Advisory Board has announced a strategic restructuring of its leadership team, appointing Markus Nicolaus as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 June 2025.
As part of this leadership transition, the AMANN Group’s Executive Board has been reorganised and now comprises four members:
Markus Nicolaus as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board, Christine Bauer as the Chief Commercial Officer, Ivo Herzog as the Chief Sustainability & Innovation Officer and Peter Morgalla as the Chief Operating Officer.
In conjunction with this restructuring, Wolfgang Findeis (Chief Financial Officer) and Arved Westerkamp (Chief Sales Officer) have exited the company as of 31st May 2025.
Alwin Epple, Chairman of the AMANN Group’s Advisory Board, noted that Markus Nicolaus brings a strong international background, strategic insight, and transformation expertise to his new role. Epple highlighted AMANN’s global footprint and significant investments—over US $ 116 million in recent years—towards expanding its production facilities in Asia. He expressed confidence that Nicolaus would drive continued global success for the company.
With over 25 years of experience in corporate transformation, strategic alignment, and international expansion, Nicolaus’ focus will be on steering the organisation toward a sustainable and profitable future, enhancing its global resilience.
Speaking about his new role, Nicolaus described the AMANN Group as a hidden champion—an innovative company with deep-rooted traditions operating in a constantly evolving industry. Nicolaus expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with AMANN’s committed and skilled team to advance the company’s global strategic transformation, with a focus on strengthening customer satisfaction, achieving profitable growth, and ensuring long-term viability.
Epple also welcomed Christine Bauer to the Executive Board, recognising her appointment as a significant and forward-thinking milestone, marking the first time a woman has joined the leadership team at this level within the company.
Bauer, who joined AMANN in 2017 and previously led the Consumer Division, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to take on the role of Chief Commercial Officer. She conveyed her commitment to advancing the group’s sales and marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on customer engagement, market responsiveness, and sustainable expansion.
With this new leadership structure, the AMANN Group signals its continued dedication to strategic development, innovation, and future-ready governance.
