Zensah, a compression apparel specialist, will be incorporating 3D printing into its product development and manufacturing processes. Claiming to be the first sports apparel company to market and sell products on a 3D printer, the US company will be unveiling their plans at the 2013 Outdoor Retail Summer Market. The technology would not only help speed the production process but create customized apparel, simultaneously experimenting with nylon and other “non-conventional” raw materials. Super-smart textiles, wearable technologies among other remarkable things are the innovations this technology is expected to lead to.
