Stoll, the German flat knitting machine manufacturer, has been offering practice-oriented courses in several languages and training more than 2,000 knitting technicians worldwide at the company’s Reutlingen Training Centre and Stoll’s worldwide subsidiaries. The topics of training vary from hand flat knitting classes to in-depth courses on its pattern software M1plus. To address the wide variety of the skill sets of its users that range from beginners to established professionals, Stoll says it has the right course. By using detailed practical exercises, the courses provide both, basic knowledge about knitting and pattern analysis as well as offering important skills for the proper handling of the Stoll CMS machines. Whereas the M1 plus training module is designed to help the participants learn the general use of the software and also how to use it for pattern programming.
