
Marks & Spencer, the UK-based retailer having experienced successful growth of 36 per cent in India is now set to expand its business with an aim to have 80 stores in India in the next two years. M&S has been witnessing a double digit growth consistently for the past two years. Its new store in Hyderabad is the 10th store in South India and the company is planning to add two more in Hyderabad within coming two months. The company opened its first store in India in 2001 and in April 2008, entered into a joint venture with Reliance Retail. M&S sources its apparel from over 50 countries. India produces more of cotton-based products of the brand.
