To promote sustainability in Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector, Pran-RFL Group has partnered with H&M Group and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to generate solar power.
The clean energy generated will be provided to garment suppliers in Bangladesh that serve the well-known Swedish brand Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M). This announcement was made during the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, held in Dhaka.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday, paving the way for Bangladesh’s inaugural Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA). This initiative, led by Pran-RFL Group and backed by the IFC, seeks to link various suppliers chosen by H&M to a newly established solar park.
