Gap and renowned sneaker designer Sean Wotherspoon have expanded their partnership to bring a curated selection of vintage Gap clothing to customers worldwide. The new program, GapVintage, will feature collections of authentic vintage pieces hand-selected by Wotherspoon, who serves as Gap’s global vintage curator.
The first drop, launching on 4th February , will include a range of iconic pieces from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, such as the classic logo hoodie and the iconic denim jacket hoodie. These unique items will be available online and at select in-store locations, including Gap’s flagship store in New York City and pop-up shops in Japan.
Wotherspoon expressed his enthusiasm for the expanded program, highlighting its potential to connect younger generations with the brand’s rich history. GapVintage aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of vintage and secondhand clothing, offering a curated selection of authentic and desirable pieces to a global audience.
