London-based womenswear label Nobody’s Child has launched an integrated rental service in collaboration with specialised technology company Zoa. This partnership allows customers to access a curated selection of 19 pieces through the brand’s website, catering to various occasions, including brides and bridesmaids, as well as casual events during the party season.
The initiative aligns with Nobody’s Child’s commitment to sustainability, furthering their mission to make responsible fashion accessible on a broader scale. Through this innovative approach, customers can simply click on a ‘rent’ button on specific product pages, a feature claimed to be one of the first in the industry. From there, they have the option to rent an item for a minimum of five days, with prices starting at £ 15.
Jody Plows, the CEO of Nobody’s Child, stated, “Following the success of Nobody’s Child on Hirestreet, we’re delighted to integrate Zoa into our own platform to provide a seamless experience for our consumers.”
“Having the option to rent direct from nobodyschild.com is an exciting innovation, and another step in providing women across the UK with responsible and affordable fashion.”
In 2021, Nobody’s Child made its initial foray into the rental market through Hirestreet, a sister company of Zoa. This strategic move coincided with the involvement of its partner company and investor, Marks & Spencer.
