18 students of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Patna have been awarded for their research projects.
While Rinitia Neogi was awarded for the best graduation project, Amit Khalko’s project was adjudged the most creative and innovative design collection.
Prerna Prakash Joshi got the award for the best use of traditional skills in contemporary styling.
Shriya Kansal, Tanay Arora and Pratishtha Bhattacharyya were amongst the awardees for best graduating projects.
Subhanshi Pandey was awarded for her project in marketing/retailing and Prashant Pathak received award for the project in international business/export merchandising, while Aastha Garg was honoured for entrepreneurship/fashion management practices.
Shyam Kumar Rana and Shivangi Gadhoke received awards for commercially viable design and exemplary application of design methodology, respectively.
Prerna Prasad, Divyanshu and Ritam Mukherjee of fashion communication received the best graduation project award during their collection display at ‘Aakhyan’.
During the graduation ceremony event of the 2022 batch, Bihar’s Deputy CM honoured these students for their projects in management, merchandising, innovation and marketing.
Sanjay Shrivastava, Director, NIFT Patna, appreciated the students and said that when students graduate and get jobs, they do the branding of NIFT Patna. Students are getting jobs in reputed firms during the on-campus placement drive.
