World’s leading apparel manufacturer Epic Group once again got recognition as the company won two prestigious awards.
Ranjan Mahtani, Chairman of the Group, was honoured with ‘Executive of the Year’ award by Hong Kong Business (HKB) Management Excellence Awards 2020. The company also won Designed in Hong Kong Awards 2020.
Hailed as an expert industry veteran, Ranjan is known for his leadership and management skills. He has been credited for the incredible delivery of the entire design, production and supply chain. He added that it exemplifies EPIC’s core motivation of going “above and beyond.”
EPIC Group, having nine manufacturing facilities across the world, with 30,000 employees and 114 production lines, supplies 100 million garments annually to over 45 countries.
The Group is also committed to sustainability and employee well-being. It offers training and development opportunities for its staff, and has also minimised its carbon footprint through initiatives such as wastewater treatment and the use of renewable energy.
It is also pertinent to mention here that TAL Apparel Limited also won Hong Kong Business Awards in healthcare apparel category, while Tungtex (Holdings) Company Limited was selected in the textile category.
Hong Kong Business successfully recognised outstanding business leaders and firms at the HKB Management Excellence Awards 2020 held virtually via digital presentations during the second week of December.
The winners were judged by a panel that included partners from Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC.
