Jean-Jacques Guével is the new CEO of Balmain!
He will be assuming his office with effect from February 2020. This comes in the wake of French fashion brand’s recent announcement that Massimo Piombini, the previous CEO, would be leaving the firm owing to personal reasons.
Massimo served the company for 2 years.
Guével will be responsible for expanding the business of Balmain in addition to developing its accessories.
Besides, he will also be devising strategies to help the fashion label grow across the globe.
Impressed with the growth of Balmain and pleased to be a part of it, Guével said “I’m looking forward to working closely with Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director of Balmain and the rest of the team, as we build upon that unique vision to fully realise Balmain’s outstanding potential for future growth.”
Guével was previously associated with Louis Vuitton and Céline and the LVMH Fashion Group Division.
