Discover e-Solutions (DeSL), a UK-based company delivering unique software applications for the Fashion, Apparel, Textiles and Footwear sectors, has developed a new tool which allows designers to integrate Adobe Illustrator seamlessly with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
DeSL Adobe Illustrator (Ai) Plug-in is built from the ground so as to be a seamless integral two-way link between the creative team and the core PLM tool. It aims to make designers feel comfortable working with data from PLM, creating a Bill of Materials, developing tech packs and requesting samples directly within Adobe Illustrator.
Also the changes are streamlined to PLM and made immediately available to the rest of the development team.
Apart from this, the Ai Plug-in gives the designers who are using the Adobe Illustrator access to features including complete colour palette library, style categories, trim records, size scales and few more features within the PLM.
Moreover, the tool also enables designers to take out data from existing PLM products or create new items saved directly into PLM all in the real-time across the platform.
DeSL also expanded its PLM system so as to include a new Digital Planning Board module specifically designed for design, brand management, merchandising and sales roles in the fashion, apparel and footwear sectors.
