LC Waikiki, the Turkey-based clothing retailer, is all set to launch its fourth store in Kenya.
With the opening of the store in Nairobi, the retailer has yet again reaffirmed its plans of expanding into Sub-Saharan Africa. LC Waikiki specialises in producing quality apparels for men, women and kids.
It might be recalled that earlier in June, Kremena Pencheva, Country Manager, LC Waikiki, had announced that Kenya would be the gateway into South Africa.
Pencheva further added that LC Waikiki had made an investment of US $ 1.5 million in the opening of its first store in Nairobi in 2017.
She said there is no better country than Kenya to enter the African market as it has a stable economy in addition to a large population of middle class shoppers.
The Turkish retail giant currently has over 750 retail stores across the globe and intends to increase the number to 1,500 by 2023.
With an annual turnover of US $ 3 billion and a huge presence across 35 countries, LC Waikiki is emerging as a rapidly growing clothing retailer in Europe.
