Saurer, a leading yarn processing technology supplier, has announced the launch of a new Bobbin Cloud material flow system based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology.
The novelty is a modification in its Autoconer X6 winding technology. Using this, system can reduce the resource utilisation up to 20 per cent.
The minimum resource utilisation is due to the high energy efficiency, increased aerodynamics in the airflow, state-of-the-art drives with high efficiency levels, and the unique Power on Demand vacuum control.
Another factor behind optimal use of resources is an online energy monitoring system that gives the real time information of compressed air and energy consumption. This helps in optimising the winding process in more energy-efficient manner, thus saving the operating costs.
Moreover, the synchronised winding and cycling process also helps in preserving the most valuable resource, the yarn.
The company also claims an increase of 6 per cent in the productivity. The extra-long machines with up to 96 winding units helps with improved productivity per square metre. The bobbin cloud helps in the continuous supply of material at all the winding units with the maximum cycle rate.
Saurer machines are E³ certified which means that it saves Energy, Economics, and Ergonomics.
