Swiss luxury fashion company Bally has announced two major appointments.
Eva Quirrenbach will serve as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, while Silvia Onofri has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer for the EMEA region.
After previously serving as the Vice President of Global Brand Marketing at Tory Burch and holding strategic roles within the Tod’s Group in Italy and the U.S., Quirrenbach will be replacing Billy Daley as Chief Marketing Officer for the company. Daley was appointed as the brand’s first Chief Marketing Officer in 2016.
“Eva is an excellent addition to the Bally team. The combination of a consolidated experience and understanding of luxury brands with her background driving the strategic development of successful global projects make her the ideal leader to drive Bally’s commitment to unified commerce on a global level,” Frédéric de Narp, Bally’s CEO, said.
For Onofri, who has been with the group for over 10 years, Bally has created a new role in an effort reinforce the brand’s new, three-pronged regional strategy. Onofri will oversee brand operations in the EMEA region in addition to her current role as Vice President of global wholesale.
“Silvia has the unique benefit of intimately understanding the Bally brand and its DNA, and having proven experience in forging new relationships with the world’s leading retailers and their customers,” de Narp said, adding, “with this invaluable expertise in hand, I am confident that she will infuse the EMEA retail division with unique market insights to take Bally to the next level in these crucial markets.”
Bally has been undergoing a lot of recent changes. Earlier this year, it was announced that the group is being sold to Chinese textile and apparel giant Shandong Ruyi Group, which controls SMCP and Hong Kong’s Trinity Group as well.
The company has also shifted its headquarters from London to Milan to be closer to the brand’s historic base in Caslano, Switzerland.
