
Trident Ltd., India-based home textiles manufacturer noted 36 per cent increase in its net revenue to Rs. 1,330 crore in the fourth quarter of financial year 2017 from Rs. 978 crore in the corresponding period last year. This was led by 40 per cent topline growth in home textile segment in the quarter under review period to Rs. 1,055.8 crore as against Rs. 753.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of last financial year.
Trident, a flagship company of US $ 1 billion Trident Group and a leading manufacturer and exporter of home textiles & paper products, achieved 28 per cent volume growth in terry towel, while its revenue was up 29 per cent to Rs. 4,839 crore. It also noted highest-ever EBITDA of Rs. 992 crore, up 30 per cent in the financial year 2017.

Commenting on the performance, Rajinder Gupta, Chairman at Trident Group said, “We are happy to showcase solid financial and operational performance for this quarter. Our Strategic initiatives of expanding our global footprint and widening our product offerings in the home textile space, helped us yield desired results.”
Going forward, the company’s focus will remain on utilizing Bed and Bath capacities, generating free cash flow and improving our return ratios. There might be some headwinds pertaining to Rupee Appreciation and Global uncertainties, but overall the manufacturer foresees buoyant times for stakeholders as it strives to create value for them.
