High-performance yoga gear creator Manduka has launched its first men’s and women’s activewear collection – #MadeForYoga.
According to a release, Manduka’s methodology to apparel begins with yoga and performance – to enhance the practice and support the planet by sustainable manufacturing. Made from recycled polyester, organic cotton, hemp, Tencel & Modal and Sorona, each material allows for maximum comfort, fit and movement while playing a significant role in a sustainable ecosystem.

The Spring/Summer 2016 collection features 40 different styles with special emphasis on crop tops and bras for women, and re-invents yoga pants, tanks and shorts for men, allowing for a more expansive stretch between the legs and maintaining form while inverting or in downward dog. Fashion-forward with its priority in function, the apparel line features pants, bras, tees, shorts, tanks, etc.
Elaborating on the collection, Sky Meltzer, CEO of Manduka said, “Before we sketched our first design, we asked ourselves, does the world need another line of activewear? The short answer was yes! Yoga practitioners need apparel that is very specific, and technically crafted for the practice, which includes inversions and a broad range of motion. They need a line that is made for yoga – offering less distraction on the mat and more focus on the powerful results that come with a good practice.”
Founded in 1997, Manduka’s purpose-driven-products are sold online, in studios and at retail locations in 65 nations across the globe to inspire yoga lifestyle.
