Vision 2025 has been lauded by the Pakistan Textile Exporters Association and termed as the right step to transform the country into an economically strong and prosperous nation and enhance exports to US $ 150 billion by 2025.
Sheikh Ilyas Mahmood, Chairman and Adil Tahir, Vice Chairman PakistanTextile Exporters Association said that the Vision 2025 has provided the base required for economic revolution of the country. They averred that seven pillars of Vision 2025 which include developing human and social capital, achieving sustainable indigenous & inclusive growth, governance institutional reforms and modernization of public sector, energy water and food security, public sector-led growth & entrepreneurship, developing a competitive knowledge economic through value addition, modernization of transportation infrastructure and greater regional connectivity, if fully implemented, would help to bring Pakistan as an economic power on the globe.
