A new rental technology service that enables customers to choose and rent straight from brand and store websites has been introduced by UK-based fashion rental technology company, Zoa.
Asos, Zalando, M&S, and H&M Group are supporting Zoa’s integrated rental technology, which enables users to rent clothing directly from the product sites of their favourite brands.
By enabling customers to rent or buy products to keep while exploring merchant websites, Zoa’s integrated rental technology solution claims to be the first of its type.
According to the software provider, unlike customary white-label rental platforms, Zoa’s invention seamlessly connects with merchants’ current websites, enabling them to provide rental choices in addition to customary sales channels.
Founder Isabella West says, “So far we have seen around 20 per cent of rental orders convert to an in-rental sale. The Zoa model gives customers a way to experience the brand at a reduced price without relying on ‘buy now, pay later’ schemes.”
