Doris, a Brazilian fashion tech company, is set to unveil its fashion ecosystem, offering a new shopping experience blending e-commerce and traditional retail to the advantage of both buyers and sellers. Set to be launched at Web Summit Qatar, the interface is claimed to shape the future of customer and retailer interactions. The company’s AI technology helps retailers to incorporate a vast range of garment images, delivering customers to virtually try on products in different sizes, integrated with their own body image, whether they are in-store or online.
During Web Summit Qatar, Doris will present its Doris Widget, an e-commerce solution, and unveil the Doris Magic Mirror. This new solution transforms how customers engage in garment trials at physical stores, offering an in-store experience. Marcos de Moraes, the founder and CEO of Doris, emphasises, “Doris enhances choice and self-expression for both retailers and customers. We are thrilled to showcase our ecosystem in the Middle East at Web Summit Qatar, bringing the latest global innovations to fashion experimentation.”
Introduced in 2023, the Doris Widget enhances the online shopping journey by enabling consumers to mix and match various pieces and sizes, creating a personalised experience. Doris had also launched Sizing 2.0, enabling consumers to visualise how different sizes fit their bodies. De Moraes further claims, “Retailers that have implemented this technology have seen approximately a threefold increase in conversion rates and a 1.6 times rise in the average basket value. Furthermore, there has been a notable decrease in returns, saving time and money for both customers and retailers.”
