World Fashion Exchange (WFX), a renowned ERP and PLM software provider for apparel and fashion industry, has introduced an ‘Alert System’ module as part of its WFX Cloud ERP suite. The company terms it as one of the latest technological advancements.
The Alert System will allow users to create their own customized metrics, and set certain tolerance ranges for each of the parameters. As soon as it will reach the tolerance point, it will send a push message (notification) to its user, reminding them to take care of that particular parameter. Ultimately, the user will be warned and he can reduce reworks.
Furthermore, as the system keeps on running in the background the user gets the leverage to continue with other work/task. The feature can be used as a preventive measure to control risks, for example: in inventory management, etc. “In today’s time one needs to travel a lot, and this alert system will allow users to be free but at the same time monitor the work and alert the user as and when required,” Jatin Paul, CEO, WFX told Apparel Resources.
