US-based Tukatech Inc. has unleashed the latest version of TUKA3D Designer Edition (DE) which now includes a library of premade 3D garments.
The subscription-based 3D Visualizer consists of 3D templates for T-shirts, leggings, dresses and other product categories to assist designers getting a head start with 3D design starting at US $ 5 per 3D garment or 2D pattern.
Commenting on the new release, Rialyn Espinosa, 3D CAD Specialist, Tukatech, averred “The design industry now realises 3D is the way to go forward. There is no need to create flat sketches for visualising and creating storyboards. Simply start with a blank 3D canvas, select an asset from the library and play with the artwork until you like what you see, then share the render in place of a sketch or physical sample.”
Tukatech has also made its 3D assets for garment styles and related virtual models available for purchase via TUKAweb which is Tukatech’s subscription portal. Tukatech will also be offering its TUKA3D Designer Edition for US $ 1 for a limited time.
Alongside, Tukatech will keep adding new styles to the asset library which will include product categories for plus-size and children. TUKA3D DE Visualizer module will enable users to view artwork at real scale on a 3D garment.
Multiple colourways can be viewed at once with an option for users to apply artwork using native design and placement tools or their favourite graphic design application, such as Photoshop, CorelDRAW or Illustrator.
Further, the Visualizer module includes high-quality rendering for presentations and short help videos are built into the Visualizer module to help subscribers get started.
Ram Sareen, Founder and CEO, Tukatech, asserted, “We have hundreds of users around the globe that are using TUKA3D DE in their routines to visualise and create amazing line sheets. This US $ 29/month solution solves the issue for those that want to quickly create a new style from a virtual asset and place prints and repeats on your approved real bodies.
