The e-commerce behemoth SHEIN and textile innovation and solutions business NTX Group have teamed together to use artificial intelligence (AI) to the manufacturing and delivery of fast fashion.
In keeping with its trend of “quick production” and “quick-to-market apparel,” SHEIN would be able to take advantage of NTX’s AI technology for design insights, creative output, product drawings, and streamlined manufacturing processes thanks to the relationship.
SHEIN can now introduce new fashion products in only seven days, with delivery fulfilled in just five days thanks to NTX’s application of AI. This is significantly faster than with traditional methods.
NTX has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into the entire fashion lifecycle, from planning and design to production. The group’s Cooltrans denim production technology is a crucial component of their approach. When compared to traditional textile manufacturing methods, Cooltrans’s AI-powered cold transfer printing produces ready-to-sew fabric in days as opposed to months.
Major sports and denim manufacturers wishing to speed up operations choose to them as a go-to provider because of their environmentally friendly waterless technique, which also minimises the environmental impact.
Charles Duan, managing partner of NTX Group said, “We are thrilled to contribute our AI expertise to major brands and emerging fashion companies that want to follow trends and sell their products on the SHEIN platform.”
