Tukatech’s easy-to-use, powerful and advanced version CAD software for the fashion industry is now in use at ColorPlus, a domestic arm of the large Raymond Group, specializing in casual garments. TUKAcad can do pattern making, grading and marker making at much higher speed. It is also compatible with several other CAD systems and formats, like DXF, GERBER file format, DFT, HPGL, CADL, IGES and ANSI/AAMA.
The Chennai-based ColorPlus has a centralized design and development team that serves technologically advanced in-house manufacturing facilities.
“The Group is also creating 2D digital patterns, grading and marking in the software system, and designing and engineering fabric for yarn-dye plaids and prints, all digitally,” said Ashesh Amin, Advisor to Raymond Group.
