Negi Sign Systems, a 14-year-old company providing a wide range of digital and mechanical printing solutions, are in high spirits after getting a good response from the fair. The company focuses on meeting the needs of established digital printers, screen printers, sign makers and other new entrants to digital printing market.
“Companies are not really aware about what our products can do for them. Once we tell them the potential and show the end product, it really excites them,” says Vijay Kandari, Marketing Head, Negi. The company already has three machines running in Ludhiana and hopes that these companies will become trend setters for the market.
Negi displayed its Valuejet series of sublimation printers which prints using drop on demand Micro piezo inkjet technology. It has a 4-colour print head and can print on fabric with maximum 1080 mm width. Among the reactive printers in the series, Valuejet 1618 was displayed which can print with up to 8 colours.
On the display was also Viper series which the company claims is the most consistent range of machines. Any printing machine is considered good if it can deliver consistency of print, meaning that the colours will be same every time, there will be no clogging and there is no purging and no colour wastage. The second important factor is reliability ensuring that the machine is never down, and works for longer hours. “Viper does that and more,” says a confident Kandhari. Available in 95” width and coming in both options – sublimatory as well as direct (reactive), it’s a big industrial machine. “For initial start up we recommend using Valuejet and then move on to Viper series gradually,” concludes Kandari.
