LMW Limited, the Coimbatore-based manufacturer of textile machinery, reported a 33% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs. 64 crore (US $ 7.5 million) in Q4 FY26, compared to Rs. 48 crore (US $ 5.6 million) for the same quarter last year. Revenue was up 16% to Rs. 933 crore (US $ 109.8 million) from Rs. 804 crore (US $ 94.6 million).
For the year ended 31st March 2026, the company reported a 27% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs. 131 crore (US $ 15.4 million) as against Rs. 103 crore (US $ 12.1 million) in the previous year. Revenue was up 6% to Rs. 3,207 crore (US $ 377.3 million) from Rs. 3,012 crore (US $ 354.4 million).
On a standalone basis, the company reported a 10% increase in net profit to Rs. 54 crore (US $ 6.4 million) from Rs. 49 crore (US $ 5.8 million) on an 8% increase in revenue to Rs. 854 crore (US $ 100.5 million) from Rs. 789 crore (US $ 92.8 million).
For FY ’26, net profit declined by 35% to Rs. 154 crore (US $ 18.1 million) from Rs. 238 crore (US $ 28 million). Revenue for FY ’26 was up 6% to Rs. 3,082 crore (US $ 362.6 million) from Rs. 2,909 crore (US $ 342.2 million).
The company stated that the ‘exceptional income’ for FY ’25 included a profit of Rs. 131.61 crore (US $ 15.5 million) on the sale of investments in wholly-owned subsidiary companies such as LMW Textile Machinery (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., China, and LMW Global FZE, UAE.
Established in 1962, the company claims to be one of India’s largest manufacturers of spinning textile machinery and manufactures the complete range of spinning machinery from blow room to winder.
