Munim Ji, an Indian software solutions provider for the hosiery garment industry, has launched a GST-ready Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The company claims that manufacturers are still facing problems in filing GST refunds due to lack of knowledge about the procedures. Munim Ji’s latest software will enable the manufacturers to overcome the challenges posed by the new taxation system.
Options of sales/purchase invoices, input tax credit, IGST, CGST, SGST, reverse charge bill, tax payable, HSN code and GSTIN have now been included in the GST-ready software to make the interface user-friendly.
The company reports that the ERP system covers every module used in the knitwear manufacturing unit right from financial, sales, purchase, taxation outstanding and inventory to order tracking, production planning and dispatch/logistics.
Furthermore, the software will make the entire accounting process easier as the users will get the required data in the excel format. This will help the users to forward sales, purchase and other relevant data to their tax practitioners through a defined channel and then to the GSTN server.
Vishal Dhona, CEO, Munim Ji, comments, “Our ERP is already a hit in the market and after GST, we are seeing growth in our targeted regions such as Kolkata, Tirupur, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Jaipur and Delhi.”
The next version of Munim Ji ERP will be synchronised with the self-developed mobile app.
“Keeping pace with the trend, it is necessary to upgrade the software quickly. So after this GST-ready update, we are now planning to come up with an app-based software which will help us capture the knitting hubs of India on a bigger scale,” adds Vishal.
