Gordini, provider of functional and quality product, has introduced Clutch™ Synthetic Leather for Winter 20 – an animal-free alternative that outperforms traditional leather and suedes.
The new development has been featured in more than 10 gloves and mitt styles for men and women.
The gloves have been proven against the toughest job sites and promise to provide 4-6 times higher abrasion resistance than the natural leathers used in gloving. These are machine washable, breathable and provide better circulation to manage moisture and prevent sweaty hands.
Since these are animal-free, the manufacturing is resource efficient as compared to the traditional tanning with 60 per cent less water than leather manufacturing.
These gloves are now available globally including Scheels, Ramsey Outdoors and Stratton Mountain, Winter Park and Steamboat resorts.
“What we’re able to offer with our ClutchTM Synthetic Leather is improved durability, breathability and functionality in great-looking gloves that are more consistent in colour, quality and thickness than animal leathers all with a lighter impact on the planet,” said David Gellis, President, Gordini.
