Esquel Group adopts FastReact System to support growth plan

Esquel Group, a vertically integrated service-oriented, world popular Hong Kong manufacturer of quality cotton apparels, has implemented FastReact planning software – a specialist provider of planning, sourcing and critical path management solutions. Esquel produces apparels for world’s best known brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren and Lacoste.

Feeling elated over a respected market leader like Esquel Group recognizing the capabilities of FastReact, Simon Gibson, the FastReact Managing Director expressed with confidence that the software will provide a strong platform and support in its planned growth and will improve the efficiency of its entire operation from the factory floor to the boardroom. With an annual production of nearly 100 million cotton shirts, Esquel turned to FastReact in order to centralize its capacity management and production planning capabilities across its manufacturing facilities in China, Malaysia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. “We recognize FastReact’s potential as much more than just planning; it is a powerful management tool that helps Esquel to operate more effectively at all levels,” said Bridget Chan, the Group Director of Information Technology of Esquel Group.

“FastReact can streamline our business communication and coordination, allowing us to easily centralize information from our worldwide operations, improve production efficiency, increase on-time delivery and maximize the ability to respond quickly to customers’ demand,” added Bridget. “Work has already begun on rolling out the software across the group’s Hong Kong head office and worldwide facilities that cover its production lines, multi-stage manufacturing processes as well as pre-production activities,” Bridget concluded.

Esquel Group is expecting FastReact to be fully rolled out within 12 months thereby helping it to maintain its competitive edge as one of the world’s leading textile and apparel manufacturers to brands like Brooks Brothers, Hugo Boss, Nike and Tommy Hilfiger. In the current year, FastReact System has already been adopted by several companies in India and abroad. In India, while Madura Garments took to the system for enhancing its shirts production, Birdy Exports, Bangalore agreed to take on the software for improving efficiencies. Earlier Busana Remaja Agracipta, Indonesia’s popular manufacturer of ladies underwear, and Crystal Martin of Sri Lanka, a part of Hong Kong-based Crystal Group, also improved its factory efficiencies by using FastReact.
