With the introduction of a used offer in the US market, French luxury brand Ba&sh has become the most recent brand to enter the resale market. Customers are invited to participate in the circular lifetime of pre-owned items through ‘Ba&sh Second Hand’ by using the new user-friendly system.
It expands on Ba&sh’s continuous efforts to promote circularity; the company introduced a similar reselling programme in France last year.
The company claims that the effort was a huge success, with high supply and demand occurring within the first two months.
According to a press release, the unique site, which was created with the resale platform Archive, has fewer listings than other resellers, which gives sellers less competition and gives buyers a simpler experience.
The US-based effort will allow merchants to post used Ba&sh items for 50 per cent of their original amount, similar to its French equivalent. When they sell something, they have the option of choosing to either redeem their income for 70 per cent cash or for 100 per cent brand credit.
Next month, Ba&sh will also test an omnichannel component of the programme, offering its VIP retail clientele a white-glove solution of the highest calibre in a few cities.
