
Southern India Millsβ Association is organizing the ninth edition of Texfair from January 9 to January 12 in Coimbatore. According to T. Rajkumar, Chairman of the association, the exhibition of textile machinery and spares will have 180 participants and 240 stalls. The exhibition will focus not only on spinning, but also on weaving and processing sectors. It will also showcase the latest trends in speciality yarn. Textile mills are using even bamboo and banana fibre to make speciality yarn. Sessions will also be held on shuttle-less looms, energy conservation, solar energy, and man-made fibre.
