The 9th edition of Leathertech Bangladesh 2023, an international trade show focused on machinery, components, chemicals, and accessories for the leather, footwear, and travel goods sectors, commenced in the capital city of Dhaka on Thursday.
ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., organised this three-day trade exhibition at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
Nanda Gopal, the director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of participating exhibitors. He expressed that the resurgence of Chinese participation in this edition signifies the growing potential of the footwear and leather products sector in Bangladesh.
Over the years, Leathertech Bangladesh has solidified its reputation as the primary networking forum for the leather industry, particularly within the footwear and travel goods sectors.
The exhibition encompasses a comprehensive range of products, and the local industry stands to benefit from the presence of global industry leaders throughout the three-day event.
The exhibition is open to visitors from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm from 2nd to 4th November. Approximately 200 exhibitors from ten different countries are participating in this event.
Additionally, prominent organisations such as the Council for Leather Exports, the Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association, and the Confederation of Indian Footwear Industry have set up their pavilions.
The Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh is the leading supporter of this event.
Other key supporters include the Bangladesh Tanners Association, the Bangladesh Finished Leather, Leather-goods and Footwear Exporters Association, and the Bangladesh Paduka Prostutkarak Samity.
