The 2020 edition of Japan International Apparel Machinery Trade Show (JIAM) will focus on the concept of ‘digitalisation’.
The upcoming international trade fair, themed ‘The Forefront of the Future Technology and Master Craftsmanship Collaboration,’ will run from May 20-23 at Intex OSAKA in Japan.
JASMA (Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturers Association), organisers of the show, observed that application of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) and ‘Big Data’ is increasing in the manufacturing and sales departments like never before.
The aforementioned technological developments are bringing a significant change in textile, apparel and fashion industries. This is further increasing the demand for high-quality and valuable products and an effective business monitoring.
At JIAM 2020, technology and services that serve the combination of ‘state-of-the-art-technology’ and ‘master craftsmanship’ will be put on display.
The collaboration of ‘advanced technology’ and ‘high-level skill set’ has remained unaffected in the ever-changing market conditions in the past as well.
The previous edition of JIAM stressed on ‘Innovative Solutions and Advanced Processing Technologies’. Around 258 companies from 15 countries exhibited latest technologies at the 2016 show.
