The Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT) is set to hold a dedicated pavilion for the country’s textile machinery manufacturers at the upcoming 15th edition of Techtextil exhibition in (Atlanta) North America.
Around 15 Italian leaders will exhibit a variety of advanced technologies and products at the event which will be held from 22-24 May 2018. Markedly, 600-plus global exhibitors are expected to participate in the event where all the aspects of the technical textile sector will be touched, including new technical processes and international industry trends.
Italian textile machinery makers are excited to develop new relationships at Techtextil 2018 as they find it an ideal platform to display their state-of-the-art technology to the world.
It’s important to add here that last year, Italy exported textile machinery worth US $ 114 million to the US which helped it secure 7th place in the country.
In 2017, the biggest share of Italian machinery exported to the US market was for the finishing and accessories segment with 33 and 22 per cent, respectively.
The positive conditions in the US, particularly in machinery imports as the country is promoting ‘made in USA’, has propelled many Italian brands to explore the opportunities available in the market.
The Italian pavilion will see ACIMIT member companies like 4M Plants, Bematic, Beta, Durst, Fadis, Ferraro, Flainox, Monti Antonio, Ms Printing Solutions, Ramina, Sei Laser, Simet, Stalam, Testa and Ugolini exhibiting their innovations at the technology extravaganza (Booth #2433).
