
The 28th edition of FESPA Awards has opened entries for print service providers (PSPs) and sign makers seeking to emphasise their prominent displays of print.
FESPA awards has been the longest running awards in the print industry, established in 1991. It has become the platform where extraordinary talent is put forth and judged by the experts of the industry.
Notably, last year’s event witnessed more than 300 print experts participating in Berlin to honour the very best in print and signage.
The last date to register for the event is 25th January, 2019 after which the entries will not be considered by the organisers. The final phase of judging will be held in March next year, while the winners will be announced at FESPA Gala Dinner which is scheduled to take place on 15th May 2019 alongside FESPA Global Print Expo to be hosted in Munich (Germany).
Quentin King, Director, Harwood King Printmakers, a UK-based company that won the Gold Award in the Serigraphies and Fine Art category last year, elaborated on how the award helped in betterment of business. In a press statement issued, he cited that since the award, employees feel proud in working and are more focussed whenever a problem arises.
“Client satisfaction of the existing clients and additional confidence for new clients has boosted in the last one year. As a unit, we are more committed to offer our customers high-end products using the latest technology on offer,” Quentin said.
Furthermore, apart from the 14 categories from the last year, this time, two new sub-categories have been introduced, namely, the Young Star award; Vocational Trainee in digital or screen printing and Design student for digital or screen printing.
