Bangladesh has earned an exclusive opportunity to display its latest offerings and creativity at the esteemed Première Vision Paris show, scheduled to be held from September 19-21.
Around 40 readymade garment manufacturers of the country have successfully cleared the trade show’s strict selection criteria of being 85 per cent compliant, making them the first from Bangladesh to display at the vibrant show.
Hassan Tanvir Fashion Wear, Crystal Composite, Fashion Knit Garments, FGS Denim wear and Bengal Knittex are some of the 40 garment exporters, who have earned this rare distinction of exhibiting at the international garment fair. “It’s like the Bangladeshi garment manufacturers have qualified for the World Cup,” expressed Dhyana van der pols, Consultant at Première Vision Paris.
An exclusive event for the major luxury and creative fashion houses, Première Vision Paris witnesses participation of around 60,000 visitors from more than 120 countries who interact with new buyers and manufacturers from elite segments to generate business at each edition.
As per reports, an initiative of the Dutch Government – Center for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) – has helped Bangladesh to make the cut and showcase its strength and potential at the fair. CBI trained 28 ready-made garment companies to diversify their product offerings and helped them in making collections for premium and high-end market segments.
