Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry was recently visited by a Thai delegation led by Chollada Areerajjakul, Executive Director, Thai Board of Investment, along with representatives of Billiger & Company of Thailand, in order to explore the investment opportunities in the field of textiles and clothing, jewellery, processed agricultural products, etc. In order to boost the bilateral trade between the two countries, negotiations to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) have also begun. Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Atif Ikram Sheikh stressed upon the need of regular exchange of trade delegations between Pakistan and Thailand.
