Ludhiana based TVknitted fabric manufacturer, Sri Sri International is now focusing more on garmenting rather than only fabrics. The 9 years old company started by Rajesh Mathur, now Director, and who has 20 years of experience in fabric manufacturing, started men’s knitted garments almost eight months ago but realized that there is lesser creativity in the same and as India is known for ladies wear, it will be comparatively a better option for export market.
Having 110 stitching machines, the company is working with buyers in New Zealand, South Africa and UK. “We decided to start garmenting a year ago and now as our understanding of market is improving, we have decided to focus more on womenswear. Our highly embellished kaftans with average FOB of US $ 20-25 have been liked by the buyers and we are expecting more orders for the same,” informs Rajesh. The company is also working in the domestic market.
