Shree Dayal Exports, Jaipur is expanding with a new unit in Sitapura Industrial area, spread out in 50,000 sq. feet where initially 300 machines will be installed to be later enhanced. Exporting ladies’ wear to the US, Canada, Europe and few other countries, the company is also exploring the domestic market. Mukesh Sharma, the second generation of the company told Apparel Online, “We are working with a design studio in France and our designs are being liked. The US is our main market, and since the market is picking up there, we are getting positive indications. In the domestic market we are offering almost the same products which are becoming hot selling items. Our focus in still on export but in the new unit we will dedicate a separate floor for domestic production as wholesalers are giving us good response.”
The company is currently having a unit in Mansarovar area in almost 10,000 sq. feet and is also participating in various fairs across the globe to attract new buyers. With the average FOB of US $ 4 to 8, it is working mainly on polyester base.
