The men’s swimwear import prices in Mexico amounted to US $ 7 per unit during April 2023, surging by 30 per cent against the previous month.
According to a report published by Index Box, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 70 per cent against the previous month.
Over the period under review, average import prices of men’s swimwear reached the maximum at US $ 9.40 per unit in May 2022; however, from June 2022 to April 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
The country with the highest exporting price in the Mexican market was Vietnam (US $ 12.6 per unit), while the price for Bangladesh (US $ 4.30 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From April 2022 to April 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+2.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
