Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR), a prominent body of Rajasthan-based apparel exporters, has completed 43 years of its establishment.
The association has expressed its sincere gratitude to all stakeholders of the industry for their support it got from Day 1.
The association had planned to celebrate the formation day for the first time with its member exporters this year; however, due to lockdown and COVID-19, the event has been called off.
Founded on 28 March 1978, GEAR has been continuously promoting exports by organising buyer-seller meets, trade exhibitions, sourcing events, etc.
“We endeavour to reach and associate with the maximum apparel exporters in Rajasthan through our business and social events to represent the industry at all national and international levels as the leading manufacturing and exporting state,” said Aseem Kumar, General Secretary of the association.
Knowledge sharing events, health camps and social gatherings are some of the regular practices at GEAR. During the 2018-2020 session, about 39 major events were organised in association with GEAR. Similarly, 8 international and domestic trade fairs were supported by the association.
“We are grateful to all our member exporters who trusted us to help them provide immaculate services. Their cooperation, encouragement and feedbacks have pushed us to go a long way and improve our association to make it so great,” he concluded.
