The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) has reached out to Al Jazeera Arabic, the most important television network in the region, to increase Bangladesh’s business presence in the Arab world. The goal of the initiative is to use Al Jazeera Arabic’s wide audience and solid reputation to market Bangladeshi goods and labour throughout the Middle East.
Md. Amin Helaly, Senior Vice President of FBCCI, stressed the value of cooperation between Bangladesh and Al Jazeera Arabic in an exclusive conversation with Sohaib Ali Jassim, the Indonesia Bureau Chief of Al Jazeera Arabic. He emphasised the importance of presenting Bangladesh’s trade prospects and economic prowess to a larger Arab audience.
Helaly’s list of important proposals includes Al Jazeera Arabic joining as a media partner for the Bangladesh Business Summit, which will take place in Dhaka in March 2025. In order to investigate trade and investment opportunities in Bangladesh, FBCCI and the Government of Bangladesh are collaborating to organise this summit, which is intended to draw global business leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators.
Helaly covered Bangladesh’s changing economic landscape in his interview, going into the country’s growth trajectory and prospects for foreign investment. He underlined how Al Jazeera Arabic might help develop stronger connections and trade partnerships between the business groups in Bangladesh and the Middle East.
