With an aim to boost investment and trade, Canada-Bangladesh Joint Working Group has planned to come up with joint working committee of the two countries to brand Bangladesh in Canada even as the decision to this end was taken at a recent virtual meeting where nominated members of the Governments of the two countries discussed the issue.
Media reports maintained this adding the meeting dwelt on how with the development of the economy, new potentials for foreign investment have been created in Bangladesh even as it underlined Bangladesh is now one of the best investment destinations in the region.
The meeting decided to form the joint working committee to make the Canadian investors aware of the advantages of investing in Bangladesh.
The President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) Md. Jashim Uddin and Co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Consumer Health Nuzhat Tam-Zaman co-chaired the said meeting.
