
Brother Industries, the Japanese multinational electronics and electrical equipment company specializing in sewing machinery, will change the sales and servicing functions of industrial sewing machines in Vietnam and strengthen its sales structure in the country.
In Vietnam, the Brother Group had been selling its industrial sewing machines through Brother Machinery Asia Limited (BMA) in Hong Kong, from where the sales and servicing functions of industrial sewing machines will now be transferred to Brother International Vietnam (BICV).

By establishing a sales structure more closely tied to the local market, Brother aims at improving customer convenience in product delivery and other aspects like enhancing after-sales services in Vietnam where significant market growth is expected in the future.
The respective representatives’ offices supervised by BMA in the cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi have been conducting market research and so forth. Due to this change, the respective representatives’ offices will be consolidated into BICV.
Brother Vietnam is a subsidiary of Brother’s Singapore liaison office and was established in 2009. The main office is located in HCMC with service centres in Hanoi, Da Nang and Can Tho.
