BRAC Bank and LankaBangla Finance recently signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh’s central bank, to provide loan under the refinancing facilities for the cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSMEs) in the country.
According to media reports, LankaBangla Finance has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank as part of which the Director of SME and Special Program Department, Md. Jaker Hossain and Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director and CEO of LankaBangla Finance Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations while separately BRAC Bank also inked an agreement with the central bank in this direction.
Md Jaker Hossain and Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director & CEO of BRAC Bank, reportedly, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, in which was also present Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Abdur Rouf Talukder.
