A delegation of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), led by its President Faruque Hassan, which attended the recent American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) Summit, promoted the apparel sector of Bangladesh as it shared success stories of the industry and its potential with the international global stakeholders at the summit.
As per a press release issued in this direction, Faruque Hassan, at the sideline of the Executive Summit of AAFA, maintained a paradigm shift has taken place in Bangladesh apparel industry, with improvements in workplace safety and exemplary strides in environmental sustainability.
For information, the AAFA Executive Summit 2022 had brought together senior-level executives from retail, apparel, footwear and fashion accessory brands from the US and across the globe.
