Even as Bangladesh continues its dominance in the realm of garment manufacturing and exports globally, the president of the country’s apex garment makers’ body has called for organising more promotional campaign and road shows to brand Bangladesh while also introduce ‘Made in Bangladesh’ across the world.
According to a press communique issued in this direction, BGMEA President Faruque Hasan made this observation while addressing a recent webinar.
Underlining Bangladesh has immense potential in terms of exploring new and emerging markets and that BGMEA, as the apex body of the country’s garment makers, has undertaken various efforts including trade missions in potential markets while also actively working in the realm of apparel diplomacy, the BGMEA President laid emphasis to shift to non-cotton products consequent to their rising demand in global market while addressing a webinar organised by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) on the occasion of ‘Sourcing Bangladesh-2021, Virtual Edition’.
